Our Founder's Commitment to Customer Service
In 1967 Charles Ackerman didn't find his calling - it found him! Late one evening the unthinkable happened - a criminal broke into Ackerman's residence. He survived the ordeal but suffered a gun shot wound. The accomplished commercial real estate developer now had a new moniker - crime victim.
At that time residential security systems were primarily marketed to affluent homeowners and celebrities. Ackerman saw an opening! His mission was to create a company culture that focused on customer service. Ackerman Security quickly became Atlanta's premier provider of residential security systems and services. Like dandelions, Ackerman yard signs began springing up throughout Atlanta.
A Legacy of Excellence and Customer Service
For almost 50 years, Ackerman Security Systems has been metro Atlanta's largest and most respected Security Company. The company offers comprehensive services to both residential and commercial customers. In addition, through planned and organic growth, the company has expanded its commercial division into 48 states. Yet, the company's main focus remains customer service.
